I was super nervous getting these worried they wouldnt fit. I’m usually between sizes so i got a bigger size than i usually do and i’m glad i went with my gut! They’re super comfy, perfect for this summer heat!!

Fantastic, fits perfect

Fantastic shirt. Fits very well. Boxy and 50s/60s-like in style while still being extremely flattering and versatile. The quality of the materials and the construction is also excellent and the terry cloth is soft, and absorbant - perfect for pool and beach days. Shipped very quickly, and the customer service was very friendly and to the point, although seeing as the shirt arrived in such good time, and without incident, there wasn’t much need to contact them more than once to confirm the shipping arrangements to the UK. Will definitely be buying from Hammies again. Would love to see a few more colours and variations of this brilliant style of shirt. Probably the only company out there doing high quality, vintage-fit beach and pool wear.

Let me start by saying that typically I hate shorts because my body type does not do well with most shorts. I have a small waist compared to my hips/booty, and most shorts seem to be made for a straight body type. If they fit in the butt, then there's that gap at the waist. What would fit in the waist won't ever even make it up that far on me. This is rough because I live in Florida and shorts are a staple in the sunshine state. So, typically I wear short bike shorts if I absolutely must wear shorts which sucks because it doesn't match my style at all. Hello Hammies! I've been starring these down since 2020. I never gave them a chance because I figured they would be just like all the other shorts that have broken my heart over the years. Finally, 3 glasses of wine and a memorial day sale got the best of me and I took the plunge and bought a pair. Not only do they fit perfectly and look super flattering but they actually match my esthetic perfectly!!! I want more colors but all the ones I want are of course sold out. Please restock orange and the dark green!
For reference: I am 5'6", 148lb with a curvy/athletic build. Typically I wear a size 6 in lululemon, a medium in beyond yoga bottoms, and a size 28 in denim that has stretch/29 in denim that doesn't stretch. I purchased a size 28 in the brown and they fit great! Color is true to the photo.

These shorts are amazing! I'm curvy, and they hug all the right places without being too tight. Really comfortable with a good stretch. I've already ordered a second pair!

this is the finishing touch to the red gingham swimsuit. It’s really soft material.

I am tall (around 5'11") and have a lower butt (43") that is much wider than my waist (29"). 100% of shorts and swimsuits ride up on me. The first thing I noticed about these shorts is the stretch - they did not compress my butt and they didn't put too much pressure on my stomach throughout the day. Next, they have not ridden up once at all. I think this is because they flare out just a bit at the leg opening. I am at times bad at picking sizes for bikini bottoms and shorts, so I was very careful to measure and ended up choosing to size up because of my butt which was accomodated by the stretch. I was slightly nervous looking at the size 26 model's fit because it looked like the shorts had the capacity for tube butt (the back riding up too high) on a different frame and that did not happen for me because I sized up. I have already recommended these to a friend!

Mostly, I'm disappointed with myself for having waited this long to purchase Hammies shorts. For a short gal (5'2", ~120 lbs) with longer athletic legs and a shorter torso, the short (but not too short!) cut and the high waist on the size 26 sold me right away. The material, vast color options, and comfortability are big bonuses. I bought the navy and yellow versions this time, but some day, I will own them all...

Perfect fit!

Although my daughter thought I looked like a picnic table, I am very happy with the fit and quality.
I’m 6’1” and 215. I chose the XL shirt (knowing to wear opened) and size 38 shorts. I usually wear a 36 jeans.
The shorts fit great, but no draw string. So if you are roughhousing in the pool, you may want to invest in some speedos under it. Otherwise the webbing is plenty enough “protection” for casual lounging and swimming and water slides.
Will be my go-to swim wear and already look it their other products.
