The Hammies Bell Bottoms fit just like the shorts in the waist, rise, hips, and thighs, so if you know your size in the shorts, you know your size in the bell bottoms. Unlike the shorts, there is no elastic in the back waist, so some people who are in between sizes size up for the bell bottoms. Hammies sizing is based on US pants sizing (size 32 means 32-inch waist), so if you wear a size 32 in jeans, then you're a size 32 in Hammies. If you don't know your waist size, measure the waist of your favorite jeans in inches and multiply that by 2 (16" across x 2 = 32").

I like these ok but they should be 100% cotton. The spandex is too clingy. When compared to my Levi’s 646 cords they are less flared and far less flared than my 684’s. More of a slim bootcut than a bell. Closer to a modern 517.

Great fit, great color (rust), great fabric!

I was afraid that they would be too short since I have long legs, but the length is perfect! The fabric is super soft and stretches. Looking forward to buying in more colors!

Everyone LOVES my Hammies in Hollywood

I'm a performer and stand-up in Hollywood. I do a lot of live events, and I've now taken to ONLY wearing my Hammies Bell Bottoms (and matching Hammies top) to shows and EVERYONE comments on them. I'm partial to the yellow ones. They're so well made and fun and fabulous. I wore them recently at the Hollywood Improv and got so many compliments. I haven't found a high-waisted, bell bottom style, pant that sports such a unique cut and choice of colors. And they're corduroy! I bought one pair and received more compliments in one night than any man should ever receive over a pair of pants. Bought another pair, same thing. Then I bought three more so I have colors to choose from. These are my go tos from now on.

These fit me perfectly. The length is so long that I can wear them with any sneakers or boots. The fit around the waist is perfect and makes my butt look great. I usually go for a 31 but the 30 fit is so great. I can’t say enough how much I enjoy these.

Lighter and Longer

These came in the mail today. Great news! They were a perfect size around the waist but man were they long! Seems like Hammies designed these with Tall guys in mind but average to shorter guys are gunna see these ride up on the waist like I did. Im 5’10” and I have them riding up nearly past my belly button. Im gunna have to spend a little more to have them tailored now. Bummer

They were also a lighter shade blue than I anticipated from the photo online.

Thanks for the feedback. We are only able to offer one inseam length at the moment so we erred on the longer side to accomodate more people. You can always taken in the length but you can't add to it. As for the rise, these bells are high rise and intended to be worn above your hip bones (like they were worn back in the 70s ) which can be belly button height on some people. Lastly, I personally wear the bells with boots (cowboy boots). I'm 5'11' and when I wear them with boots, they're the perfect legth, and when I wear them with sneakers, they tend to drag on the ground a little bit.

They look amazing, fit great, and you can comfortably sit, squat and move around. My only complaint would be the length. They’re just a little long, but work alright with the right shoe. I’m 6’1” and ordered the 32. Literally every other measurement fits like a glove.
I will be ordering more in different colors.

Hey, Hammies!

I am wearing my size 28 BLACK Bell Bottom Pants at work for the second time today and absolutely loving them. The sizing is consistent (this is my third pair of pants purchased) and comfortable and the look is one of a kind. I will be buying more pairs of your bell bottoms in the future for my wardrobe.

If I could share a few additional thoughts:

- PLEASE bring back your PLUM SHORTS and your FOREST GREEN shorts. Those colors are scrumptiously eye-catching and I keep rechecking your website to see if they have inventory.
- If the Hammies team isn’t already thinking about BURGUNDY SHORTS… May I humbly request your consideration and creation of that product? Burgundy Hammies would be so, so sick.
- I would love to see Hammies skirts exist someday. A short corduroy skirt similar in length/experience to your 3” inseam shorts might fit within the framework of your brand

I love these pants! The fit is perfect and the style is exactly what I was looking. They are a true 1970s cut and style and the stretch makes them very comfortable. If San Francisco Riding Gear, Brittanica and OP came together and made a perfect pair of pants it would be Hammie's Bell Bottoms.

The length is way, WAY too long. I wear a 32 inseam, and have no issue with 34 inseams as well. However, with the tailoring of these, they are far far too long, closer to a 36 length it seems. Then, you all advise that a buyer can get them tailored, but that would ruin the flare (of course). So you then tell folks to try washing and drying them on hot, because they will shrink. I did - twice - and no, they did not shrink one bit. But now that they have been washed, they are not eligible for return. So I have pants I cannot use, that ran way way too long, they didn't shrink at all and then, I'd have to spend $45 bucks getting them shortened, knowing that the shortening would likely eliminate much of the "bell bottom" flare. No good, returning the second pair and never purchasing again.

Just received mine and like the 5'7 reviewer commented, while the pants are AMAZING (love the soft materials, the fit around the waste, etc), they are WAY TOO LONG for me.

I similarly wear a 36x30", and when my wife and I looked at the possibility of hemming them, most of the bell-bottom flare would be gone at the level I need. So I unfortunately need to return.

Can you PLEASE offer a shorter inseam option (this will make two requests among your customer reviews for a 30" inseam)..? I'll be eagerly awaiting this option as the pants are otherwise AMAZING!

Thanks for the feedback, Jonathan. We decided to make the inseam longer vs. shorter to accomodate more people. My wife is 5'1' and hems her bell bottoms 4' and there is still plenty of flare left. Be sure to wash and dry them before you hem them so that they don't end up being too short. Additionally, I'm 5'11' and I wear by bells with cowboy boots which have a ~2' heel and the bells hit at the perfect length. If I wear sneakers, they're a bit too long. Plus, they just look so much better with a little heel. Some things to consider before you return them!

These are the best fitting, most comfortable pants I’ve ever owned. They are true to size and look incredibly cool. Every time I leave the house in them, random strangers approach me to tell me they “love my look” and that I “look like a rockstar”. I’ve never received so many random compliments from strangers as I do now that these pants are part of my life. Do yourself a favor and buy these pants.
