Le short Hammies est un short classique pour une nouvelle génération. Popularisé dans les années 1970 en Californie du Sud, ce modèle a été pendant une décennie le modèle incontournable des skateurs, surfeurs, rollers, moniteurs de colonies de vacances, de Tom Selleck et de bien d'autres. Au milieu des années 1980, les shorts se sont allongés et les pantalons sont devenus plus amples, et pendant les trois décennies suivantes, le short est tombé dans l'oubli (une période aussi connue sous le nom de « l'Âge des Shorts » ). En 2017, Hammies a remis au goût du jour le short autrefois oublié dans toute sa splendeur, avec ses couleurs primaires et son velours côtelé à larges bords, et une fois de plus, tout allait bien.
En bref , le short Hammies est un hommage à une époque où les shorts étaient plus courts, plus doux et plus colorés. Ce sont les shorts de votre père !

Customers praised these shorts for "very soft and comfortable" material and excellent quality construction. The corduroy fabric and style received high marks, with shoppers calling them "obsession worthy" and "go-to shorts." However, the elastic waistband tends to be weak and droops when carrying items in pockets, requiring improvement.
True to size, would buy again and need them to restock the powder pink in a size 32.
Solid design. Good construction. I HATE the stretchiness. After a few movements, they lose their shape and feel loose and “cheap”. If these were 100% cotton and the “brown” color was actually brown, and not sand, these shorts would be lethal. I love the silhouette. They look super retro, I just hate the fit. Hammies, PLEASE make a 100% cotton product and you will have a customer for life.

Absolutely love thes shorts. Grew up wearing Op (Ocean Pacific) cord shorts as a kid and these are the closest to those classics on the market today. Good quality and design.
I would love to see belt loops added. Could easily put on on back, 2 on sides and 2 through the top front pocket area at waistband. This wouldn't be a big deal except for the fact that sizing is somewhat inconsistent between the 2 pairs of 32" waist I own. Both bought at same time and washed / dried in same conditions. One pair is looser that the other. Belt loops would allow for belt in case of size discrepancies from factory or from elastic wearing out over time or between washes.
My navy pair seem to be very color fast and not fading but the gray pair are fading at the bottom hem of leg openings. I have owned these since April of this year and don't have too many miles on them.
I will definitely continue to buy but would love to see belt loops added.

Don’t put much in your pockets. That have no belt loops, your shorts will start to sag, they can’t handle much in the pockets. Also, they don’t keep their shape that well, after a good wash, they seem to tighten up again, but it makes me wonder how long that can last ? Otherwise, I do own like every color, but I think I like my Marine Layer cord shorts better. Thinner, have belt loops, muted colors, less stretch, problem is they had just two colors. Overall, these are aces, they just need some work to get my five stars
I've been looking for short-inseamed shorts for decades. I had O.P. shorts in the 70s and 80s but couldn't find them anymore. Hammies are exactly what I was hoping to find. I bought two pair to try out. I was so satisfied after receiving them, I purchased four more pair.

I was skeptical at first if I’d like the shorts but when I put them on, I loved them. The fit and style are so appealing, and the fact they’re comfortable too makes them even better. I live in New Orleans where’s it hot most of the year, so these are perfect for a day at the park or in the quarter.

Nice shorts but they fit bigger then expected with no belt loop. I had already washed them so no return. Maje sure you orderf them a size smaller. There was no warning on sizing. Probably wont order again due to cost.

I’m a size 30 women’s but wanted to test how the men’s shorts fit. I like them a lot! Same size, 30, but they’re not form fitting like the women’s cut; They have a little bit more room in the thighs since they are cut wider, more like regular shorts would.
The color is amazing and the fit is great. The waist band in the back is stretchy which makes these very comfortable.
Love the blue! They look great on my partner 💙 he has a pair in black already, now we have a summer set!
