Le short Hammies est un short classique pour une nouvelle génération. Popularisé dans les années 1970 en Californie du Sud, ce modèle a été pendant une décennie le modèle incontournable des skateurs, surfeurs, rollers, moniteurs de colonies de vacances, de Tom Selleck et de bien d'autres. Au milieu des années 1980, les shorts se sont allongés et les pantalons sont devenus plus amples, et pendant les trois décennies suivantes, le short est tombé dans l'oubli (une période aussi connue sous le nom de « l'Âge des Shorts » ). En 2017, Hammies a remis au goût du jour le short autrefois oublié dans toute sa splendeur, avec ses couleurs primaires et son velours côtelé à larges bords, et une fois de plus, tout allait bien.

Slightly inconsistent sizing

I have 4 of the pants, which I love & 1 first generation pair of shorts (which I am obsessed with and really wish they still made them or had an option for a shorter rise. The latest shorts give me a pooch in my stomach & not nearly as flattering. I have two second generation shorts & 1 first. The black pair fits different than my brown ones & the brown ones just fit me weird.

This purchase included Black and Navy, I already had the Ivory. I wear them all year round. They wash up nicely but I never dry them as with all my forever favorites.

Yellow/Sand = Neutral with a pop!

I love how these make a statement, with the yellow and sand stripes. Why be boring when you can be fun and stylish!? Really comfortable, too.
