I love that it is 100% cotton and doesn't have added acrylic / poly etc. That is surprisingly hard to find in sweaters at this low of a price. This is a small, family owned business. You should feel good about supporting them. The bad review above should be ignored. It is common practice to have to return an item before a refund can be issued. You don't get to keep the item and get a refund, even if it was damaged. They are a small business, they cannot just give you free items because you cannot be bothered with returning a damaged item.
Anyway. Love this sweater.

I purchased a sweater specifically for an event that is themed. I only tried the sweater on twice (and never washed it) and there were holes almost immediately along the seams where the ribbed portion connects to the sweater. I contacted Hammies, and they continually insisted I return the item, even though I explained I was not at home and not able to make a return. They refused to offer the refund unless I returned the item, even with clear documentation of a faulty product. I did not need a replacement because due to the issues with the sweater it was not used during my event, and I had to find a different option. Honestly - this brand is far too expensive for what the product quality is to not consider their customer's needs, and there are other brands who offer better prices and better quality who DO. Give your money and your business to a company that cares. I will not be doing business with Hammies again, and I recommended my business associates also find another option. It may seem like a "small" issue, but I've had so many other experiences with other companies who go out of their way to provide amazing items and exceptional customer service, and I would much rather support them. Resolving this issue would have lead to my continued business, and this clearly is not a company that invests into their customers or considers how to best provide customer care.
