The Hammies Stovepipe Pants fit very similar to the bell bottoms and shorts in the waist, rise, and hips, but are a bit more relaxed in the thighs down. If you know your size in the shorts, you know your size in the stovepipes. Hammies sizing is based on US pants sizing (size 28 means 28-inch waist), so if you wear a size 28 in jeans, then you're a size 28 in Hammies. If you don't know your waist size, measure the waist of your favorite jeans in inches and multiply that by 2 (14" across x 2 = 28"). Keep in mind that Hammies have a high rise and sit around your belly button, so if your favorite jeans are not high-rise, you may want to adjust for that. The Hammies Stovepipe Pant is a straight-leg version of our beloved bell bottoms. The stovepipes are a classic fit based on our favorite vintage jeans from the 1960s: not too wide, not too narrow, wide enough to fit over a boot, and slightly shorter than our bells. The stovepipes are an all-around and versatile pant that can be dressed up with loafers or boots and dressed down with sneakers or sandals. When bell bottoms aren't the move, the stovepipes are.ย
